'Without the Sandman' is the first project BIX undertook, half a year after 3 of us sat down one night and decided to 'just do it'...with or without funding. 3 of us - Joavien Ng Bong Na, Ian and Xyn (in order of our age). We first started working together in 1997, my first public work, SchiZone, which was presented by Dance Dimension Project, now known as Ecnad....after that, we continued working onto few other projects.

BIX was founded 6 years after that. And with lots of support from friends, volunteering their expertise, time and house, 'Without The Sandman' was born, right here in the house of Ian.
